Sam’s Sorrento Pizza is a pizza franchise in Macomb County, Michigan, near Detroit. I have designed innumerable projects for Sam’s Sorrento Pizza for print and digital graphics in the past several decades and continue to do so.
I first started creating graphics for Sam’s Sorrento Pizza in 1995 when I served as Assistant Graphic Designer at Joseph, Inc. Printing and Advertising. The owner, Mr. Al Marino, relied on Joseph, Inc. to design and print his 2-color flyers for his pizza franchise for many years. I worked on many of his promotional materials during my tenure there.
In 2002, Mr. Marino reconnected with me, and I began to serve as a freelance designer for printed artwork. I assisted the company transition to full-color marketing collateral in 2005. I was also given the privilege of refining the logo and branding and creating a brand kit in 2009. I also developed the first website for Sam’s Sorrento Pizza using WordPress.
I have designed innumerable print projects over the past several decades, and I continue to do print-related design and website updates on a regular basis. Print design has been my main focus including bulk mail flyers, printed menus, packaging design for their food boxes, and window signage for multiple locations.
You can find a few samples of printed and digital projects I created for this company in my portfolio. To learn more about Sam’s Sorrento Pizza, visit the website.
